Grand electric vehicle ‘Ride and Drive’ event to be hosted at MI State Capitol

As Michigan looks to future of the automotive industry, lawmakers tour latest in electric cars, SUVs, transport vehicles, school buses and more

LANSING – Michigan’s grand electric vehicle debut on the Capitol lawn will take place with a “Ride and Drive” event on Tuesday, May 17. Automakers will showcase the latest electric vehicles – from cars, SUVs, transport vehicles and buses – alongside companies that supply and recycle materials used in their manufacturing.

The event is hosted by: Clean Fuels Michigan, the Michigan Conservative Energy ForumEVHYBRIDNOIRE, the Michigan Energy Innovation Business Council, and MICHAuto. Exhibits will be provided by: FordGeneral Motors, Stellantis, Rivian, BollingerONE, Ascend ElementsBlink Charging, Consumers EnergyGen H2Electrification CoalitionFontaine Modification, and NAVISTAR.
