Description: The Office of Climate and Energy in collaboration with the Office of Environmental Justice Public Advocate with Elevate Energy are launching a program to support Michigan Justice40 communities with funding, technical assistance, and training. This is a 12-month program (beginning in Sept 2024) for a cohort of 25 community-based organizations serving disadvantaged communities. Awardees will receive $25,000 in unrestricted grant money.
Eligible Projects: Work related to Workforce Development, Resilience Hubs, Agriculture and Food Justice, Climate Action Planning, Energy and Energy Efficiency, Green Infrastructure, Water Quality and Infrastructure, Sustainable Housing, Toxins and Pollution Issues, or Transit and Transportation Justice.
