Eligible Applicants:  Native American Tribes, Non-Profits, Other entities pursuing projects eligible for DOE LPO financing and for-profit entities

Fuel Type:  Propane, Biofuel, Hydrogen, Electric, Natural Gas

Agency:  Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC)

Description:  EGLE and MEDC seek to accelerate the deployment of large-scale ($100 million+), commercially viable projects and technologies that will help the state achieve its carbon neutrality goals while spurring economic development and high-quality jobs throughout the state.

Eligible Projects:  Program priorities follow the MI Healthy Climate Plan priorities: EV charger installation, energy storage deployment, heat pump conversions, efficiency retrofits, clean energy, energy burden reduction by 6% of income for low-income communities, environmental justice, and support for the domestic clean energy supply chain.
