Description: Incentivize and accelerate the upgrading or retirement of older diesel engines. The EPA anticipates awarding approximately $9M under this NOFO: $8M for Tribes and $1M for territories. No cost-sharing/matching funds or leveraged resources are required as a condition of eligibility under this competition.
Eligible Projects: Identify and reduce diesel emissions resulting from goods movement facilities and vehicles servicing goods movement facilities in low-income and disadvantaged communities to address the health impacts of such emissions on such communities.
